To Taste Temptation - Elizabeth Hoyt

For the life of me, I could not get over the moccasins. Put some shoes on already Sam! Good, enjoyable albeit a little bland in places. I really had very little interest in who betrayed the regimine for the massacre. There wasn't enough developement around who it could be for it to really be interesting to me. We met so little players and it seems impossible to be solved in the first place, so whenever the story would drift toward that end I would drift too.

The build up to the engagement was perfect, I certainly love that grand confrontation. It was probably the best part of the book and made me a little swoony. I am eager to read the next story of Melisande and the shedding her brown frocks.
