For me? The insta-love is my absolute least favorite trope in a romance. This short-story format really pushed this into the erotica genre more than a straight romance - the physical attraction and coupling drives the characters actions. I just don't connect with romance when it's mostly based on sex. I've read a fair amount of erotic-type romance and the result for me is always the same - it's just 'okay'. "Okay' for me means I'm not really opposed to it, but it's not something I'll re-read.
