The 5th Wave - Rick Yancey

"You have to write the book that wants to be written. And if the book will be too difficult for grown-ups, then you write it for children.”  Madeleine L'Engle

I'm so angry.

I picked up this damn book without thinking.

It was just published. It's a YA book. The 5th Wave, is a newly published, sci-fi YA book that is part of a trilogy. How stupid do I feel? Why do I do this to myself?

If I was thinking, I would have realized that I could be dead before I see this to completion, because it won't be complete for two more effing years. If I had been thinking, I would have put the book down and walked away, blissfully unaware of it's awesomeness until such a time that I could read all three at once. Like in two more effing years.

Does "live long enough to see if humanity survives" really belong on a bucket list??

I better go take my vitamins.

I curse you Rick Yancey.

Now, who else can I inflict this kind of torture on...must go recommend...
